To those it may concern, I am Arkin De’Wolf, and this is the log of my adventures while in the company of my dear friend and protector Natak. I have yet to get to know my other companions and to discover there true motivations.
As we entered the Orgoth fortress built into the mountain, I felt a strange sense of foreboding. When we arrived at the door, I was intrigued to find that the heavy wood covered bronze doors were ripped off there hinges. the power that it would take to accomplish such a feat is beyond me. The inside was dark and damp. there was a stream running from somewhere inside the outpost leading right out the now open doors. there were cobwebs everywhere and to keep myself from laughing at Natak, took immense control. as we search each room that we came across, it was clear that someone had been there before and there were people still living there. once we reached the end of the Orgoth outpost we entered a section that was made out of a different stone and was not nearly so precise and exact. we moved farther into the tunnels and began to hear a faint hum. We pinpointed the room from which the humming was coming from and set up our positions. to be honest it was quit exhilarating. i had not had such a thrill since my first mission in the military. Natak entered and subdued the creature without very much noise. the creature began to talk to us in a language we could understand and told us about the white lady and the four grey ladies. after that we decided to do some exploring and the creature showed us a crystal clear lake with, if he is telling the truth, holds a 10 foot wide squid. i casted a light spell on one of the sand rocks and handed it to Natak who crushed it. we were able to illuminate quite a lot of the lake and we saw the thing, the horrible monster that was terrorizing these poor little creachers. why we just had to kill it. the older elf sister, i forget her name, fired a round of her gun into the monster. this seemed to enrage it, and it exploded out of the pond and grappled Meryll. good old Natak strode forward sunk his axe hilt deep into the monster. then it was my turn, i squared up and raised my pistol and fired a jet of pure cold energy, and to be expected, the squid froze solid. afterwards Meryll saw something in the water and Natak, who is the best swimmer, went in after it. it turned out to be a very old dagger which appeared to be magical. we left that room and the creature over to another which he said was another monster but this was one that we thought better than to fight.
